Custom Domains

An instance can moved onto your own domain instead of its default cloud.ricochet.rs address.

Point a domain at an instance

1. Create a CNAME record for the domain, pointing at cloud.ricochet.rs.

   analysis.example.com.  CNAME  cloud.ricochet.rs.

2. Open the instance card, select Domain, and enter the domain.

3. Save.

Caution

Changing the domain changes the address your users and your CLI use. Run ricochet login -S https://<new-domain> again after the change.

With an external OIDC provider, register https://<new-domain>/oauth/callback in that provider before changing the domain.

Choosing a custom *.ricochet.cloud address

You can change the auto-generated https://<instance-name>-<organization-slug>.cloud.ricochet.rs address to an arbitrary name of your liking. We check internally if this address is still free and then reserve it for your instance.
